Where The Body Leaves Me

I don’t belong here

With a dim heart

I turn poison

To touch and ache

Evaporating into the ether, untethered

Vibrating

Suffocating in toxic air

Suppressing body quakes

Forget me through snowfall

I seek pain and pitter patter

Sacred texts and all

I’ve left my body

Spiraling

Agony carved up in karmic laughter

The will to survive may come after
